There is only one thing better than a Plum Crazy Purple Dodge Charger and that is a Plum Crazy Purple Dodge Challenger. Thankfully both of these will be available on nearly every trim level for both of these 2016 models! Below you will find a gallery featuring a 2016 Charger and Challenger sporting the Plum Crazy Purple exterior color along with a 1970 Dodge Challenger

Plum Crazy Purple will be available on the Dodge Challenger R/T, SXT Plus, 392 Hemi Scat Pack Shaker, SRT 392, and the Hellcat. It will be available on the Dodge Charger R/T, SRT 392, SXT, and the Hellcat. Keep in mind Plum Crazy Purple is not a new addition to Dodge’s vibrant color palette. It was introduced in the 70s and has been available on select models and trims ever since. Unfortunately Plum Crazy Purple will only be with us for a short run. You will only have until the end of the year to order yourself a new 2016 Dodge Challenger or Charger in Plum Crazy Purple.

If you’re looking to get into a Challenger or Charger of your own visit our website for more details!

With autumn just a few weeks away ask yourself, did you take full advantage of this summer? If your answer is no, then this post is for you. Here are five things you must do before autumn makes it’s way back around.

Before the winter makes it’s way back around be sure to have your vehicle is serviced at Bertera Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram of Westfield to have your vehicle serviced by a factory certified technician!

Recently one of our loyal customers was involved in a car accident. Thankfully their Subaru was capable of handling the situation and saved the life of it’s driver. We’re glad to see our friend and loyal customer is doing better. Displayed below are some of the images taken after the accident and a small message that was included with the images.

Hi Shawn,

Here are some photos – sad as they are – of the damaged Outback that you may want to share with your staff and perhaps colleagues at Subaru. I am alive once again because of the way my Outback performed under the circumstances. Please forward same on to Holly and Dan.

I hope Dan has placed the order for my new vehicle. I will be in touch.

Thank you again for all your support during this awful time.

Best regards,
A loyal customer

Eight-hundred and five is the number of horses that have been squeezed into the all new Dodge Challenger Hellcat X. If that isn’t enough of an upgrade, then you’re going to like the eight-hundred pound feet of torque. That’s one-hundred and fifty pound-feet over the base Hellcat model. Are you curious on when you will be able to pick one of these 805-horsepowered beauties up from your local Dodge dealership? You’re not. This beautiful beast is one of a kind designed by FCA for the Dream Giveaway charity organization.

The Dream Giveaway is a charity raffle that supports children, veterans, cancer patients, the homeless, and victims of natural disasters. Some of the charities Dream Giveaway supports are Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Detroit Rescue Mission (DRMM), Smile Network International, National Guard Educational Foundation (NGEF), and the Greater St. Louis Honor Flight.

If Dream Giveaway is something you are interested in please visit their website to see some of their other raffles and feel free to support them. Who knows maybe you’ll be driving a Hellcat X to work one day.

Saturday July 18th marked the 22nd annual Glasgow Lands Scottish Festival. When the festival began all that could be heard were the high pitched yet oddly soothing cry of the bagpipes. In addition there were kilts as far as the I can see. My first few steps into the festival I was already in conversation with a large bearded man asking me which clan I belonged to.

After a brief history lesson on the Scots and the Stewart Clan I ventured into the Market where vendors offered everything from crystals to swords. After about 45 minutes of talking myself out of buying a giant double bladed sword I soon found myself contemplating whether I wanted a giant turkey leg or a meat pie. Needless to say I decided to get both and was not disappointed. To make things even better I washed my food down with some Honey Mead.

After a long day of eating, listening to bagpipes, and watching people smaller than me throw sixteen pound stones further than I could throw something half its weight it was time for the opening ceremonies. The opening ceremonies featured the Massed Bands, Highland Fling, and the Clan Parade. First the Massed Bands marched up and down the field playing their bagpipes in unison. You can watch a clip of the Massed Bands March at the end of the video above. Following the Massed Bands was the Highland fling where girls from all ages danced to the bagpipes. Finally it was time for the clans to introduce themselves with their war cry. Some were funny, others were intimidating, and at the end of the Clan Parade all the clans gave one last war cry as a group and it was quite the sight.

The music never seemed to stop at Glasgow. Whether it was another troop of young men and women playing the bagpipes or Charlie Zahm pushing his vocal cords to the limit there was always something to move to.

In conclusion Glasgow Lands Scottish Festival was a great time. From the food to the highland dancers everything is a new and exciting experience. Bertera Subaru of West Springfield definitely recommends checking The Glasgow Lands Scottish Festival out next year on July 16th, 2016 or as the Scottish put it “Come ye back tae Glasgow Lands next year!”
